At FCI, we are committed to continually improving our safety performance. For us, the key to safety is communication. We firmly believe that training and education are the cornerstones for instilling a culture of safety and assuring a safe working environment.

Setting high standards

We encourage our sites to adhere to OHSAS 18001, a voluntary standard that allows each site to assess its occupational health and safety management system. Like the environmental and quality standards ISO 14001 and 9001, OHSAS 18001 has been designed to let sites continually analyze their hazards and set targets and objectives accordingly.

Ambitious objectives

Our new LEAN program aims to reduce employee time lost to accidents by 75% over the next three years. Thanks to increased awareness among our workforce, we feel confident that we will reach this objective.
