AFCI offers a wide range of connector options to support the industry-standard interfaces between storage drives (HDD, SSD, ODD) and the backplanes, midplanes or drive carrier boards commonly used in storage applications in PCs, servers and storage systems.
AFCI provides a selection of card edge connectors with assorted pitch sizes for the implementation of PCI Express® architecture in desktop computers, workstations, and servers. Our 1.0mm pitch vertical connector offers 1, 4, 8, or 16 serial PCIe links for different bandwidth requirements. The PCIe Mini Card is a mini-PCIe 52-pin connector with a 0.8mm pitch and varying height options, while the PCIe M.2 connector features a smaller 0.5mm pitch and 67-pin configuration. Designed to support PCI Express 3.0, USB 3.0, and SATA 3.0 applications, the M.2 connector also helps to reduce PCB board space with its compact form factor and low connector height.
